Borris House is ready and waiting for July 6 & 7's festivities!
Having been forced to cancel last year due to licencing difficulties, the BARE festival is back with a stunning new venue and super-tasty line-up.
Running on July 6 and 7 in Carlow's Borris House, a country pile with 1,000 acres of grounds under the Blackstairs mountain, headline duties are being taken care of by underground Detroit legend Obie Trice who will be accompanied by Eminem's other pals, Kuniva D12 and Swifty D12.
Also featuring in the first wave of acts are God Is An Astronaut, The Lost Brothers, Seamus Fogarty, Kila, Natty Wailer, Corner Boy, Tebi Rex and Gok Wan who's swapping his fashion rail for a set of decks!
Twenty places on the bill are being reserved for Irish acts who can apply to join the BARE fray courtesy of the MobStar global talent discovery app.
"So why the move to Carlow?" say the organisers. "When you see Borris House you will understand. It’s breathtaking dramatic location will wow festival fans. Borris House is only a ten-minute journey from the Bagnelstown train station, shuttle buses will travel back and forth to the festival site. Borris House is only one hour south of Dublin off the M9 but feels like a World away.
"Picture it… a hot summers weekend, a location fit for a King, amazing music vibes, spoken word, comedy, live wrestling, artisan food, craft beers, funfairs, camping and much much more…#BARE18 has it all!"
We're there guys, we're there!
