The Last Tycoons launch single
The Dublin alt-country merchants give us a preview of their forthcoming debut with lead single 'The Dry Law', which you can have a listen to right here...
Currently working on their debut album, Dublin's Last Tycoons release their first single, 'The Dry Law', tomorrow, with a launch gig planned for Crawdaddy.
The single – a rootsy tale of prohibition and religion – was inspired by lead singer Steve's month on the wagon, and can be sampled here.
Catch the band at Crawdaddy tomorrow (June 12), with guests The River Valley Band and Howlin Dowlin, at Electric Avenue (June 26) and Phil Grimes (July 3) in Waterford, both with Floyd Soul And The Wolf, and at Kytlers, Kilkenny (July 4), with The River Valley Band.
For more on The Last Tycoons, pick up the next issue of Hot Press, out June 18.
