And So I Watch You From Afar Sign Deal
Hot Press' favourite Northern Irish post-rockers are to have their debut album released in the New Year by Smalltown America.
Having been fawned over in Hot Press by both Colin Carberry and Edwin McFee, Belfast post-rockers And So I Watch You From Afar have signed on the dotted line with Smalltown America, the UK independent that’s also home to Jetplane Landing, Hooray For Humans and Fighting With Wire.
Out on March 20, their eponymous debut album will feature ‘Set Guitars To Kill’, ‘A Little Bit Of Solidarity Goes A Long Way’, ‘Clench Fists, Grit Teeth…GO!’, ‘I Capture Castles’, ‘Start A Band’, ‘Tip Of The Hat, Punch In The Face’, ‘If It Ain’t Broke, Break It’, ‘TheseRIOTSareJUSTtheBEGINNING’, ‘Don’t Waste Time Doing Things You Hate’, ‘The Voiceless’ and ‘Eat The City, Eat It Whole’.
“We’re delighted to be working with a label that shares our enthusiasm for innovative and exciting music,” enthuses guitarist Tony Wright. “With this alliance solidly forged, a debut album waiting to be unleashed and our unbreakable will to make the most tantalising, new music out there – the world may yet spin backwards due to our uncompromising sound.”
