LISTEN: New Stano album - 'Unknown Distance'

One of Ireland's most intriguing and innovative artists, Stano has returned with a brand new record; the elusive, captivating Unknown Distance, which can be streamed in full below.

Speaking to Olaf Tyaransen in the new issue of Hot Press (Love/Hate cover), Stano reflects on his latest work in typically modest fashion.

"I don't really see it as an album," he says. "I just see it as part of a body of work that I'm building. It's always evolving, and I'm never sure what's around the corner."

The new record comes during an especially prolific time for Ireland's leading 'non-musician' as Stano prepares for the world premiere of new showUnspoken - a stunning audio-visual tribute to Dublin and his first live performance in over 20 years - which gets two airings on October 18 in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar at 8pm and 9.30pm.
