Rough Trade to release decades-spanning Best Of

Stiff Little Fingers and The Stars Of Heaven fly the Irish flag on Recorded At The Automat: The Best Of Rough Trade Records, a 3CD retrospective going all the way back to label's 1978 launch.

Due here on March 20, it's a hugely diverse affair, which also includes the likes of Cabaret Voltaire, Scritti Politti, The Fall, The Smiths, The Sundays, Mazzy Star, The Strokes, The Libertines, Palma Violets, Arcade Fire, Warpaint and Antony & The Johnsons.

Proof, if any were needed, that Geoff Travis & Co. have an exceptionally keen ear.
