Melania Trump rickrolled the Republican National Convention
In addition to blatantly plagiarising First Lady Michelle Obama
Melania Trump has been the talk of the internet today for blatantly ripping off a speech by Michelle Obama. But it seems another notable aspect of her speech has flown a bit more under the radar: her skillful rickroll.
Speaking about her husband, Mrs. Trump said, "He will never, ever give you up. And most importantly - he will never, ever let you down".
It's a brilliant rickroll, but it certainly doesn't make up for copping an entire paragraph from the woman your supporters want you to be the opposite of.
Was this the part of the speech Mrs. Trump claimed to have received very "little help" with, or was this where the "team of writers" came in?
Despite Mrs. Trump's plagiarism gaffe, no one in Trump's campaign will be fired or face disciplinary action, undoubtedly because they won the Republican candidate's favour with their mastery of internet memes.
