Jedward number one in Ireland
We're sorry to be the breakers of bad news but...
The rock nation mourns as the official IRMA chart shows that Jedward have bagged their first Irish number one with ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)’.
The Grimes brothers leapfrogged over Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’ to grab the top spot, with the Glee cast rendition of ‘Somebody To Love’ the second highest new entry at number ten.
You can catch/make sure to avoid Jedward tomorrow when they join Brendan O’Connor on RTE One’s The Saturday Night Show, and on June 5 when they open for Westlife in Croke Park.
It’s same as you were in the album chart with Lady GaGa The Fame/The Fame Monster at number one and Hot Press cover star Paolo Nuitini enjoying a second week at number two with Sunny Side Up. The highest debuting album at number 8 is Ke$ha’s Animal.
