More Irish acts added to Eurosonic bill

Imelda May, Villagers and Delorentos join the previously announced And So I Watch You From Afar in representing Ireland at this year’s Eurosonic showcase festival in Groningen, northern Holland.
Over 200 acts will perform at the event, which runs from January 14 to 16 and will be extensively covered by 2fm who will have Jenny Huston and Dan Hegarty over there for the duration.
Attended by industry professionals from all over Europe, Eurosonic netted Fight Like Apes no fewer than six festival appearances this year including Glastonbury, Benicassim and T In The Park.
Hot Press will also be in attendance, so expect a jumbo-sized report afterwards.
