Belfast, Dublin and Cork are in for some very special shows in April as the Libertine hits the road with his acoustic guitar
The extremely good news for Pete Doherty fans is that the Libertine is soon to embark on his first solo tour in ten years. Armed with his trusty acoustic guitar, he kicks of The Battered Songbook Tour in Ireland – proper order! – with the Belfast Limelight (April 13); Dublin Opium Rooms (14); and Cork Cyprus Avenue (15) all being visited.
He then kicks the UK leg off in Glasgow before finishing up with what promises to be a very special night in London's Royal Albert Hall. Those dates in full are:
8th TUE Glasgow - SWG3
19th WED Stockton - KU Bar
21st FRI Newcastle - Riverside
22nd SAT Lancaster - Kanteena
23rd SUN Hull - The Welly Club
24th MON Norwich - The Waterfront
26th WED Manchester - O2 Ritz
27th THU Liverpool (Anfield) - The Church

Pete is promising "to take audiences on an unforgettable ride into his strange and fascinating world where nothing is as it seems and life itself is an intense euphoric dream. Friends and special guests are expected to join him on occasion across these seventeen dates."
Every phase of his remarkable career will be represented including Babyshambles, the Puta Madres, last year's fantastic collaboration with Frédéric Lo and, of course, The Libertines.
