Hollywood homage to the ‘80s Rock of Ages is a big-budget film based on the Broadway musical of the same name. Starring the well-known faces (and other body parts) of Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand amongst others, the film is crafted around a fictionalised account of a waitress and a bus-boy who fall in love in the golden era of glam rock. With original vocal performances by the cast and a host of the best tunes of the decade, the soundtrack showcases rarely-seen talents of actors new and old.
