I.F.C. (Irish Film Centre)

The Irish Film Centre is the practical embodiment of the remit and mission of the Film Institute of Ireland and it fulfils an important symbolic role as the national centre for film. The 17th Century Quaker Meeting House – in the heart of Temple Bar– was converted to house the film centre. The IFC provides a meeting place for film makers, audiences, researchers and students. Arranged around a glass-roofed courtyard, the complex includes two cinemas, the Irish Film Archive, fiieducation, a specialist bookshop and library as well as a very popular bar and restaurant.
