Aslan slash ticket prices

Aslan have announced they are reducing the ticket price of their 30th Anniversary Concert with The Kaiser Chiefs and Royseven on Saturday June 30th, from €49.50 to €25 - for a limited time only.

The near 50% reduction came into effect on Wednesday morning and runs until midnight on Sunday June 10. The 30th Anniversary gig is set to take place in Tallaght Stadium on, no coincidence, Saturday June 30. It’s described as an all day outdoor summer party (with food), featuring live performances from Aslan, Kaiser Chiefs, Royseven and newcomers Red Empire.

The band credit the recession as the reason for the reduction, and say they want to encourage friends and family of fans to attend.

Drummer Alan Downey said that the “concert is the pinnacle of our career”, and that part of the reasoning behind the reduction was so that could happen. All tickets are available at the reduced price of €25 plus booking fee from Ticketmaster outlets until midnight on June 10. Anyone who already bought a ticket can return to point of purchase for a refund of the difference. Booking fees still apply, however. Under 16s fans must be accompanied by a parent or Guardian at the all-ages gig. Doors are at 1:00PM.
