LISTEN: Some coruscating post-punkery from Limrock's Pity Of The Sea #BuyIrishMusic
It gets in, does the damage, gets out again...
Appearing on the Hot Press radar for the first - but definitely not the last - time are Pity Of The Sea, a Limrock duo whose 'A Screaming' is a two minute-plus jolt to the system. But in a good way.
Available now for Bandcamp purchase, it's the first of two singles Ger Cremins and Tony Monahan are releasing in quick succession from their upcoming debut album. The second, 'Black Lines', is out on Friday and features local legend Naive Ted.
We'll be keeping a very close ear on the alt-electronic-indie outfit who've had their latest creation mastered locally by Wav's Richard Dowling.
