Track of the Day: Duke Dimez 'Ashtray'

Raised between London and Sligo, the now Dublin based rapper, Duke Dimez, brings another level of class and energy to the hip hop scene.

Having released his first single, ‘Craicpot Deala’, with The Beardfire Label in October, which was selected for the New Eire Spotify editorial playlist. Duke raises the energy once more with ‘Ashtray’ – a fiery, grimy kick to the face to anyone who doubts his ability or history.

Earlier this year, the 21 year old hip hop artist’s talent and tenacity caught the attention of producers and label Beardfire Music, who’s previous successes include Martin McDonnell, Patricia Lalor and RUNAH.

Now releasing his second single through Beardfire Music, Duke pulls no punches with infectious, high energy, quick fire bars.

‘Ashtray’ is the defiant, short tempered brother to first single ‘Craicpot Deala’. With a hint of more music coming soon Duke Dimez is certainly one to keep an eye out for!
