Who would be the last person you would invite to your birthday party? Donald Trump - no explanation needed.
Who would be the first person you would invite to your birthday party? Albert Sharpe – he brings every party to life.
Favourite saying? Be careful of the people you stand on, on the way up, as you will meet them on the way down.
Favourite record? Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.
Favourite book? The Other Side Of Midnight by Sidney Sheldon.
Favourite film? The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Favourite author? They are more known as playwrights, but my favourite writers are Martin McDonagh and John B. Keane.
Favourite actor / actress? Colin Farrell – love the man / Saoirse Ronan – love the woman.
Favourite musician? Besides the obvious – Bruno Mars and Beth Hart.
Most embarrassing moment of your life?
Drunk at an Elton John party, singing along to ‘One Voice’ by Barry Manilow, who was on stage. Also present was Simon Cowell, who didn’t know the song – or certainly didn’t when he heard my version of it.
Favourite food/drink/stimulant? Johnnie Cooke’s prawns / frozen margarita with no salt / chocolate.
TV programme? Big Little Lies and Games Of Thrones.
Favourite TV personality? Oprah – the queen of all things TV.
Favourite item of clothing? I have a big weakness for evening coats and I love them all, so couldn’t select one.
Most desirable date? George Clooney – no explanation needed.
Favourite method of relaxation? Watching catch-up TV.
If you weren’t pursuing your present career, what other career might you have chosen? I would like to have been a photographer.
Biggest thrill? Hozier reaching number 2 on the US Billboard charts with his debut album, only to then eclipse it by reaching number 1 with his sophomore album, Wasteland, Baby!
Biggest disappointment? I don’t believe in disappointments – just lessons learned and move on.
Your concept of heaven? A world at peace.
Your concept of hell? To spend a night on a tourbus.
What would be your dying words? Make sure everyone wears black to my funeral, cos I will rise up and haunt you if they don’t.
Greatest ambition? To see the end of child abuse and bullying in Ireland.
Period of history you’d most like to have lived in and why? I like living in the present and the modern technology that it brings. But I hate that we are also destroying our planet at the same time – if we could find a balance between past and present, that would be an ideal time in history.
If you weren’t a human being which animal would you have chosen to be? A black panther – such a beautiful creature.
If you were told that the world was ending tomorrow morning, how would you react/what would you do? Throw one hell of a party for my loved ones and friends – might as well go out with a hangover.
Your nominee for the world’s best-dressed person? Charlize Theron and Sinéad Burke.
Favourite term of abuse? Get the fuck out of town.
Biggest fear? That anything would happen to my children.
Humanity’s most useful invention? Electricity.
Humanity’s most useless invention? Nuclear arms and the fear that they bring.
