Tanya Doyle, Head of Creative Arts and Screen Media exclaimed, “Alongside the cast and crew screening we are holding in the Lighthouse Cinema we are delighted also to screen four short films made by our final year Film students. It is wonderful to be able to show the high standard of work and allow audiences to experience them as a collective real-world experience again. Visitors can also watch final year films from 2020 and 2021 at the Creative Show. On top of that we have short documentaries made by students from Film and TV Production, Journalism and Communications and Media Production and Photography programmes available to view."
With Sinead Murphy, Programme Director of Photography adding: “We are immensely proud of the class of 2022 and all that they have achieved throughout their degree particularly during challenging times. As creatives, we have to problem solve, our students met the challenges of making work during lockdowns, their adaptability will stand to them. This year we are delighted to showcase the graduate work in-person, genres on display by the final year photography students include documentary, fine art, commercial, fashion, macro, infrared and street photography.
"Visitors can browse the full body of work in the students' self-published books, zines and portfolios and marvel at films and documentaries our students have created."
