Omarosa Manigault-Newman, a former White House staff member who once appeared as a contestant on The Apprentice, has expressed a view that many rational thinking people reckon is true .... that the US President is not the full shilling.

“I was complicit with this White House in deceiving this nation,” Omarosa Manigault-Newman has told Meet the Press, as she promotes her explosive new book about her time in the White House. “They continue to deceive this nation by how mentally declined [Trump] is, about how difficult it is for him to process complex information, how he is not engaged in some of the most important decisions that impacts our country.”

Omarosa also believes Melania Trump is waiting for her husband to leave the White House so she can then file for divorce.

"In my opinion, Melania is counting ever minute until he is out of office and she can divorce him," she wrote

Omarosa also writes in her book that Melania, who famously once wore a jacket with the words on the back "I Really Don't Care D U?", purposely wears outfits to "hurt" her husband.

"I believe Melania uses [fashion] style to punish her husband," she states. "The messages behind her style choices aren't always clear, but they are never accidental. She wore that jacket to hurt Trump."

Manigault-Newman has also accused Donald Trump of being a bigot who constantly uses racial slurs. She's also claimed that he's now trying to start a "race war".

“My certainty about the N-word tape and his frequent uses of that word were the top of a high mountain of truly appalling things I’d experienced with him, during the last two years in particular,” she writes in the book.

She adds: “It had finally sunk in that the person I’d thought I’d known so well for so long was actually a racist. Using the N-word was not just the way he talks but, more disturbing, it was how he thought of me and African-Americans as a whole.”

It's now rumoured that there's a secret recording of Trump using the 'N' word while filming the TV show. But Donald Trump has now publicly stated that he doesn't believe such a tape exists.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Mark Burnett called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up."

In a personal attack on Omarosa, Trump tweeted: "Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on 'the Apprentice,' now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard really bad things."

Donald Trump also wrote: "Nasty to people and would constantly miss meetings and work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser and nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me -- until she got fired!"

Donald Trump added: "Look at her MANY recent quotes saying.....such wonderful and powerful things about me - a true Champion of Civil Rights - until she got fired. Omarosa had Zero credibility with the Media (they didn’t want interviews) when she worked in the White House. Now that she says bad about me, they will talk to her. Fake News!"

Omarora has revealed that she secretly recorded many conversation during her time in the White House, which she's now used for the basis of her explosive book, Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House.

“If I did not have this recording, people would still believe the false, incredible story that I was running around the White House – the false story that was told to a reporter and repeated by this network and other reporter – that I tried to charge the residence… It was a lie,” Omarosa said. “If I didn’t have this recording, people would still think I was trying to set off alarms.”

The White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has gone on record to state that Omarora's book is “riddled with lies and false accusations”.
