Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards Call Off Engagement

Together since 2012, the pair are said to have met backstage at the X Factor while Edwards was a contestant with her band Little Mix. Last night Zayn broke his silence on the split by posting an image of a flower on a piano on his Twitter page. Appearing on US television promoting Little Mix's new single 'Black Magic', Edwards stated that she was 'feeling good' before her bandmate Leigh-Anne jumped in saying they 'didn't want to talk about' the recent split.

This news comes after Zayn's split from One Direction in order to make 'real music' and his recent signing to label RCA. Zayn has congratulated his former bandmates on their new track 'Drag Me Down' which is expected to go straight to Number 1 in the UK and possibly in Ireland.
