KNEECAP respond to Disturbed frontman David Draiman
See Kneecap's response below.
KNEECAP have responded to Disturbed frontman David Draiman, calling him a "straight up cunt".
Last week, Tom Morello said that Kneecap are "the Rage Against the Machine of now," and commended them for their pro-Palestine efforts.
In response to this, Draiman called Morello's support for the rap trio "shameful".
Shameful. Truly.
Wish I could say I was shocked.
Guess my family doesn’t count, when it comes to my “friend’s” virtue signaling for those who support terror, and incite Jew hatred. https://t.co/tbRNB3jDu4

KNEECAP then responded to Draiman in an X post, including an image from 2024 of the singer signing artillery shells belonging to the Israel Defence Forces. "Signing bombs dropped to murder kids and other people's families just makes you a straight up cunt," said the Belfast band.
Draiman then took to X, responding with numerous posts.
Here’s the thing, and I’ll speak to you in small words, so you understand.
That shell was meant for HAMAS. You know, the organization who has sworn to murder all Jews, not just Israelis, time and time again, including my family.
You shoot at Jews? Expect Jews to shoot back.

"Enjoy your 5 minutes gentlemen," said Draiman on an X post. "It could have been done with your art, but instead you chose to do it with hatred."
Draiman is Jewish and has been a strong supporter of Israel. Earlier this month he preformed at the 'Back To The Beginning' Black Sabbath farewell show in Birmingham, where he faced backlash and was booed by members of the crowd.
Disturbed are set to perform at 3Arena, Dublin on October 22.
