Dave Lofts announces headline Irish tour
The Wicklow singer-songwriter supported The Wolfe Tones at their final show in Limerick’s Thomand Park last weekend.
Dave Lofts has announced a headline Irish tour with gigs in Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Dublin for later this year.
He is set to perform at The Haven, Waterford on September 5, Cyprus Avenue, Cork on October 16, Upstairs at Dolan's, Limerick on November 2, Roisin Dubh, Galway on November 21 and The Ambassador Theatre, Dublin on December 13.
Lofts has supported several high-profile acts - he recently performed at The Wolfe Tone's final show at Thomand Park, Limerick and toured Ireland earlier this year with English rock band Wolf Alice.
As well as his own sold-out shows, Lofts has played at Irish festivals Electric Picnic, Kaleidoscope and All Together Now Festival.
The singer's latest track ‘Just A Man’ is “based on Dave's journey with mental health and is dedicated to anyone battling anxiety, panic attacks, depression or who has experienced loss.”
In December 2024, Lofts became the first Irish act to have a sold-out debut headline show at Whelan’s, Dublin.
Following this gig, he sold out Waterford’s Bank Lane and his live recordings from a five sold-out residency in Waterford pub Phil Grimes were released as a live album that reached No.1 on the Irish Independent album charts.
The upcoming issue of Hot Press, out this week, features an interview with the artist.
Tickets go on sale for Dave Lofts on July 18 at 10 am, available on Ticketmaster.
