Dave Lofts announces debut EP
The singer-songwriter announced his EP with the release of an acoustic version of the title track, 'Holy'.
Waterford-based singer-songwriter Dave Lofts has announced his debut EP. Holy is set to release on July 31 via B-Unique Records.
The announcement has been accompanied by the release of an acoustic version of the title track. The original, released in March, has amassed over two million streams on Spotify and received plaudits from Russell Crowe.
"Dive deep with this artist," said the Gladiator actor to his 1.4 million followers. "Thank me later."
A video of him performing the track with American singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell, went viral on social media in April.
Also on the new EP is ‘Where is The Love’, which was released in May.
The artist also announced a series of in-store performances following the records release.

Lofts enjoyed a breakout year in 2025 where he shared stages with Gavin James, Wolf Alice, Picture This, Kingfisher and Amble and made festival appearances at Electric Picnic and All Together Now.
“I had to speed all my songs up for those Wolf Alice shows!” Lofts told Hot Press in an interview last year. “My priority was to show their fans that this guy’s real, he’s not hiding behind an image. Anyway, they let me in and treated me like one of their own. They were wholeheartedly beautiful and amazing.
“I also went on tour with The High Kings who are fucking great guys, so sound! One of them, Finbarr, is Liam Clancy’s nephew and looks just like him. I’m a firm believer in that thing of there being only two types of music – good and bad.”
The Wicklow artist also has a series of Irish dates on the horizon: The West Awake's Music Festival, Clonoulty, Tipperary, Ireland June 27; Forest Fest, Emo Park, Co. Laois, Ireland July 24; Heat Wave Festival, Waterford, Ireland July 25; Revival Music Festival, Listowel, Ireland August 15; Cyprus Avenue, Cork, Ireland September 12; Ulster Sports Club, Belfast, NI September 17; Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick, Ireland September 18; Set Theatre, Kilkenny, Ireland September 25; Róisín Dubh, Galway, Ireland September 26.
