Dave Lofts finds fans in Russell Crowe and Sierra Ferrell with new single 'Holy'
"This was the first time in a long time I was a little starstruck," said Lofts.
Russell Crowe has given a shoutout to Dave Lofts, praising the singer's new single 'Holy' on Instagram. The Gladiator actor urged his millions of followers to "Dive deep with this artist. Thank me later.”
Lofts' latest single, 'Holy,' which was released on March 20, has already surpassed 100,000 streams across major platforms.
"I'm gonna be straight with you, I'm not a starstuck kind of person. This was the first time in a long time I was a little starstruck. So Russel, I think you're an absolute legend, you're an icon. Thank you reaching out and for getting people on the music. I've notice a lot of people listening from Australia, I presume it's from you."
The singer has previously supported acts including Damien Dempsey, Gavin James, Wolf Alice, Picture This, Kinfishr, Amble, and The Wolf Tones, and performed at major festivals All Together Now and Electric Picnic.

"This was a moment I’m truly grateful for," reads the post's caption. "Thank you @sierraelizabethferrell and @watertowerband for this opportunity to sing with you. You guys are a breath of fresh air and the last of the best breed. 'Holy' is out now and available on all things. Thank you USA."
