Young Fathers win Mercury Prize
Scottish-based hip-hop act defy the odds
Hip hop trio Young Fathers were last night crowned winners of the Mercury Prize for 2014.

While they said the £20,000 prize would go towards a new tour van, they can expect a further boost to the coffers from a bump in sales; they shifted records at a rate some 30% higher following the nomination, so their coronation will surely see another rise.
