CMAT debuts at number one on Irish Albums Charts, beating Sabrina Carpenter
EURO-COUNTRY is CMAT's third consecutive album to debut at number one on the Irish Album Charts.
CMAT's album EURO-COUNTRY has debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Charts, narrowly beating out Sabrina Carpenter's Man's Best Friend.
EURO-COUNTRY also tops the Irish Independent Charts with Fontaines D.C.'s album Romance at number two.
The news marks CMAT's third consecutive album to top Irish charts. If My Wife New I'd Be Dead in 2022 and Crazymad For Me in 2023 also debuted at number one.
Released on August 29, EURO-COUNTRY was Hot Press' Album Of The Month. Hot Press rated the record ten out of ten and described it as "absolutely masterful stuff."
CMAT posted a video on Instagram following the charts' release, in which she goes to find out the results from manager Barry O'Donoghue, saying, "As soon as I see his face, I'll know."
In the video, O'Donoghue tells a speechless CMAT, "Congratulations, you're number one in Ireland."
