Yola to play Dublin's Olympia Theatre in December
Tickets for Yola's Dublin gig go on sale this Friday at 9am.
After a spectacular performance in the Academy, Yola has announced a new December date for the Olympia Theatre in Dublin.
For the last three years, Yola (who previously performed as Yola Carter) has been a standout at the Americana Fest in Nashville. She released a debut solo EP in 2016 after the dissolution of her band Phantom Limb. She also toured as a vocalist with Massive Attack, among other acts.
The Bristol singer-songwriter's stunning debut album Walk Through Fire, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, was described by Hot Press's Pat Carty as "a marvellously authentic-sounding slice of country/soul, more the kind you'd expect from the banks of the Mississippi than the Avon." Read the full review here.
Yola is set to play the Olympia on December 1. Tickets from €30 (incl. booking fee) go on sale this Friday, May 17, at 9am. See Ticketmaster for more information.
