Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy and De La Soul to play Dublin's 3Arena
A triple headline performance from some of the most influential names in rap will take place at Dublin's 3Arena this summer.
Three of the world's most influential rap groups have announced that they will come to Dublin for the Gods of Rap tour, hosted by producer DJ Premier. Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, and De La Soul have announced they will take the stage of Dublin's 3Arena on Tuesday, May 14th for a triple headline show.
The tour marks the anniversary of three legendary records from the rappers. Wu Tang's Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) will celebrate its 25th anniversary, while Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back and De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising will both turn 30.
It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back features the hit singles “Don’t Believe The Hype” and “Bring The Noise”, while De La Soul's debut 3 Feet High and Rising gave us “Eye Know”, “The Magic Number”, and “Me Myself and I”.
Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) was the 1993 debut breakout from the Wu-Tang Clan, and commonly considered one of the all-time great hip hop records.
