Willy Vlautin to launch new novel in Dublin

Willy's jaunt sees him appear in The Gutter Bookshop, Dublin on Tuesday January 28 at 6.30pm and The Ulster Museum, Belfast the following evening at 7pm. Both events will feature a reading from the new title followed by a Q&A, in Dublin Roddy Doyle will be on interview duties and Glenn Patterson will be chatting with Mr Vlautin in Belfast. Entry to both events is free.

The Free follows on from lauded titles The Motel Life, Northline and Lean On Pete. The Motel Life has been adapted for screen and is currently doing the rounds on the film festival circuit, its celluloid version impressively stars Emile Hirsch, Stephen Dorff, Dakota Fanning, Kris Kristofferson, plus a cameo by the author himself!
