Wilco top Belfast festival bill

The first acts have just been announced for Belfast’s Open House Festival, which takes place between September 7 and 12 and features some seriously tasty gigs.
The numerous highlights include:
September 10 – Wilco & The Felice Brothers @ Festival Marquee, Custom House Square. Early Bird tickets are £25.
September 11 – Old Crow Medicine Show @ Festival Marquee, Custom House Square
Also confirmed are The Low Anthem, AA Bondy and Dr. Dog.
This year’s Festival Marquee will be a new 2,000-capacity jobbie, which sounds perfect for the acts appearing.

Although Wilco have a show in Aspen, Colorado on the opening day of the Electric Picnic, they’ve nothing in their diary currently for September 4 and 5 making a dash to Stradbally possible!
