Whelan's have announced their annual talent showcase and opened the application for aspiring artists to perform.
Whelan's have announced their annual Ones to Watch festival for 2020, which will take place across five days from 15 to 19 January. The festival celebrates up-and-coming Irish talent, and this year will see more than 60 bands perform across two stages. In partnership with Hop House 13, everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a free pint of the beer at the festival.
Submissions are now open for those who think they have what it takes to perform at Ones to Watch. Apply to play via the link here.
The five-day party will showcase a variety of music styles, so attendees can expect to hear indie, folk, experimental, pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic and more. In addition to promoting emerging talent, Whelan's will be championing artists who have taken the next step and are planning releases for 2020.
Tickets run for €6 per day or €12 for the full festival. They are available for purchase now at whelanslive.com.
