Westerman unveils new single 'About Leaving' and announces 2026 Dublin gig
Tickets for the headline shows go on sale October 3, 2025.
British singer-songwriter Westerman has released a new single, About Leaving, the second track from his upcoming album A Jackal’s Wedding, out November 7 via Partisan Records.
The single lands ahead of a special listening party for the album in Dublin, taking place at Fidelity Bar on November 4.
Westerman will also return to Ireland early next year as part of a newly announced tour, playing Opium, Dublin on February 15, 2026. The headline tour spans the UK, Europe and North America, with full dates available on his website.
Written between London, America and Greece, and recorded on the island of Hydra with producer Marta Salogni (Björk, The xx, Sampha), About Leaving reflects themes of transience and displacement.
“There are different ways of looking at leaving — through loss, opportunity, fear or excitement,” says Westerman. “I tried to play around with all of those things... like someone on the sea, not in control of anything, but excited to see where it all goes.”
The track follows Adriatic, released last month, which marked a more experimental shift in Westerman’s sound.
Tickets for all headline shows go on sale October 3.
