WATCH: Trailer for Spider's Trap
Alan Walsh's "Irish film noir" launches in Dublin next month.
August 9 will see the premiere of Spider's Trap in the Lighthouse Cinema, Smithfield. A brand new production from Bootstrap Films and Blackhorse, Spider's Trap focuses on a former safe cracker (Glen Baker) who is given a second chance when he finds himself on the edge of record deal. Inevitably, things don't go completely according to plan. It is the first feature film for Alan Walsh, who previously worked as a stunt performer on the likes of Braveheart and The Tudors. Behind the camera, he won Best Director (Short) at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival for his short What If.
