WATCH: Trailer for The Age of Adaline

Wolverine's various escapades in the X-Men films have taught us that agelessness can be more of a curse than a blessing. Now, The Age of Adaline is offering as realistic a meditation on immortality as we've seen, sans mutants and robots.

The film features Blake Lively as the titular Adaline, who suffers an accident in the 1930s that renders her immune to the effects of age and forces her to live a mostly solitary life. That is, until a new love interest shows up! Who happens to me the grown son of love interest from her youth, played in adulthood by Harrison Ford! Talk about a sticky situation.
