WATCH: The 1975 Debut New Music Video for 'A Change of Heart'
Mattie Healy's not afraid to clown around in new video
The 1975 chart the highs and lows of a clown romance with their vivid 'A Change of Heart' video.
Singer Matthew Healy plays the protagonist who frolics around a carnival and falls in love, launching a whimsical relationship built on bumper cars and flower-smelling.
The couple's sweet-and-sour love story is filled with sprightly dancing and a vast amount of popcorn. But it ends with Healy's character in despair after that silliness leads his partner astray. The final shot conveys the universal feeling of being dumped: a lonely clown on a park bench, soaked in rain.
This synth-pop ballad hails from The 1975's second LP, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It.
