A sparse but exciting teaser trailer has been released for Fargo season 2. Skepticism over remaking the Coen brothers’ classic 1996 film last year was thankfully not well-founded and the producers will be hoping they can keep pleasing the fans.

Like True Detective, this time around there is a whole new cast but it does have at least one link to the first season. One of the main characters is Lou Solverson who we saw as Molly Solverson’s father in the first season.

This time around the action takes place in 1979 and will involve young police officer Solverson investigating a major mob syndacite. No exact release date is known yet but it will be out on Channel 4 sometime in the Autumn. Check out the teaser below.
