The documentary, produced by Johnny Depp and directed by Julien Temple, explores Shane MacGowan's remarkable career – featuring previously unseen archive footage; specially commissioned animations; and interviews with Bono, Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, President Michael D. Higgins, Gerry Adams, and more.
According to the documentary's official website, Crock Of Gold will be in UK cinemas on November 20, and available on DVD and digital on December 7. A release date for Irish cinemas has yet to be announced, but the website notes that it is "coming soon".
