Irish a cappella group Ardú to perform on The Voice UK

Ardú, an Irish a cappella group, will have their blind audition on the new series of The Voice UK this Saturday evening. They are Ireland's leading professional a cappella group and will be the largest ever act to perform on The Voice UK, with six members.

Ardú are known for their a cappella covers of pop songs, such as Kodaline's 'I Wouldn't Be'. Their music video for this song was nominated for an Acappella Video Award in the category 'Best Video by a Professional Group'.

The judges on September 19 will be Tom Jones, rapper will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones of McFly sharing a double seat, and Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child.

Ardú have released three studio albums: Gravity (2018), Live (2020) and Songs From Here (2022). Their music has been featured on BBC Radio Ulster as well as RTÉ Radio 1.

They have participated in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Your Roots Are Showing, and FuddleFest. The singers won an audience award at Vocal Champs Germany just this past Saturday, September 12.
