WATCH: Jimmy Fallon and Chris Martin Cover Bowie
The Coldplay frontman and the talk show host honoured David Bowie with a duet of "Life On Mars?" featuring an impromptu solo from Roots guitarist Captain Kirk Douglas
Chris Martin and Jimmy Fallon, both superfans of Bowie, have paid tribute to the legend with a duet performance of ‘Life On Mars?’ which aired on last night’s The Tonight Show.
Halfway through the pre-recorded clip, Roots guitarist Captain Kirk Douglas barges in, rips a quick solo and takes off. Fallon and Martin then bring "Life on Mars?" to a thrilling, theatrical conclusion, after which the Tonight Show host ribs the singer, "Well, keep working on it."
