Veteran Irish musicians Francie Conway and Keith Donald have released a song as part a local campaign to overturn planning permission for a visitor centre at Dublin’s Hell Fire club.

An Bórd Pleanala approved the €15 million development by South Dublin County Council to develop a visitor centre in the Dublin mountains at the Massy’s Wood estate and Montpelier Hill in June 2020.

The development would also include a visitors car park, developing existing and new trail walks, and a tree-top 'sky walk' to link the Hellfire site and the Massy's Woodland.

In December 2020, the Hellfire Massy Residents Association were granted permission by the High Court to bring proceedings against SDCC to prevent the development.
