WATCH: Father John Misty Covers Nine Inch Nails

Father John Misty covered 'Closer' by Nine Inch Nails at a gig in Chicago last night (April 13).

Joking with fans at the Riveria Theatre, the singer said he wanted to perform his "favourite love song" but warned them that it's a little "sappy". The song notoriously includes lyrics such as "I want to fuck you like an animal."

Currently on tour in the US, it's not the first time Misty has covered some interesting artists.
The singer recently covered Rihanna’s ‘Kiss It Better’ to much fanfare when he stopped off in California and has also been known to sing some John Lennon and Taylor Swift while on the road.
