WATCH: Apella's debut single accompanied by X Factor parodying video
'We Met A Party' is a summer pop banger!
Blowing up as we speak on Irish radio is ‘We Met At A Party’, the debut single from Dublin duo Apella, AKA renowned drummer Ronan Nolan and former Fox Avenue man Dara Quilty.
The song is accompanied by an X Factor parodying video, which was directed by Andrew Morphlock and is a whole lot of fun. We particularly like the Robert Smith nod!
‘We Met At a Party’ has already achieved viral hit status on YouTube with a whopping 15.3 million plays and rising!
“How exactly I’m not sure, but an early version of the song found its way onto the soundtrack of the ‘Road Bike Party 2’ video, which has been watched by silly numbers of people,” Quilty says. “It’s things like that which make it such an exciting time to be making music!”
