Festival stars are set to get up close and personal with their caricatures this weekend.
The stage is set for larger than life icons to come face to face with... larger than life versions of themselves! Renowned Irish artist Mark Baker alongside "Ireland's leading celebrity cartoonist" Niall O’Loughlin will be showcasing their fabulous paintings backstage for the VIPs at Oxegen this weekend.
Featuring amazing portraits and caricatures of Beyoncé, The Script, Dave Grohl, Chris Martin and Liam Gallagher, along with a few other surprises, this promises to be an outstanding exhibition.
Mark will even be bringing his excellent portrait of Phil Lynott to Oxegen for the weekend, before returning it to its spiritual home at the re-opened Phil Lynott Exhibition on Monday. His work is instantly recognisable by his extremely detailed style of painting, his unique mode of expression, and the likeness to his subject.

Mark's works are predominantly from his own life passions of music, sport and film and the interesting personalities within these areas. A devoted fan of U2 and Thin Lizzy, his works have been signed by Bono, The Edge, and Philomena Lynott. Other fans include Debbie Harry, Christy Moore and Shane MacGowan.
