Viet Cong for The Workman's Club
The Canadian experimentalists much beloved of our Ms. Dwyer, Viet Cong, are Dublin-bound on May 13 for a show in The Workman's Club, which we suspect will quickly sell-out.
Recorded in a barn-turned-studio in rural Ontario, their self-titled debut is an early contender for Album of the Year, with Joy Division, Killing Joke, PiL, Cabaret Voltaire and Phil Spector among the numerous reference points.
