Vance Kass releases debut single 'Underdose'
The solo project of Overhead, The Albatross' Vinny Casey takes a different and more intimate route.
Vance Kass, the solo project of Vinny Casey of Dublin outfit Overhead, The Albatross, has released a new single titled 'Underdose.'
His new venture sees him exploring new musical avenues, delivering a sound that is far from Overhead's soundscapes and reveals a different side of the musical sphere. Sampled beats and layered vocals and bring a sound cut from a different cloth - a more personal and intimate exploration of the things that affect us in our daily lives, and the struggle we each go through to overcome the barriers that life can throw in our way.
Debut single 'Underdose' deals with mental health and its impact on our relationships -- both romantic and in general. Casey sings about how dealing with our own demons can pull us apart from the ones we love, but they're the ones in the end that can make us happy.
