Van Morrison for Belfast homecoming show

Van The Man immortalised Cyprus Avenue in song on Astral Weeks and now he's getting ready to play it. Van Morrison has announced his plans for a gig on the East Belfast street this year. It takes place on August 31 as part of the EastSide Arts Festival and will act as a celebration of his 70th birthday.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on march 2, with prices still to be confirmed.
