UPDATED: The Strypes announce Irish tour

The Strypes are ready to start work on their second album and they're hoping hitting the road to try a few things out will help them on their way.
With that in mind, the Cavan teens have announced The Roadtest Tour, which will find them playing 20 intimate venues around the country.
The plan, apparently, is to "roadtest the new songs and flog the old ones to death."
So says bassist Pete O'Hanlon: "We feel this type of tour suits us the best. The idea of playing up close to crowds where you can see the whites of their eyes is thrilling. Where better than Ireland to start a year of touring?"
