UPDATE: Gorillaz announce Dublin O2 date

Gorillaz are to play the Dublin O2 on September 22, with tickets going on sale on Friday May 21 priced ?59.80.
The touring band will include Clash legends Mick Jones and Paul Simonon plus other personnel who appear on their Escape To Plastic Beach album.
If you’d like a side order of sunshine with your genre-straddling cartoon pop, Gorillaz have in addition confirmed a headlining visit to Benicassim, the Spanish festival that takes place between July 15 and 18 and also features the likes of The Prodigy, Kasabian, Vampire Weekend, Ray Davies, Lily Allen and Dizzee Rascal.
