U2 photography book set for release
Anton Corbijn's collection of photographs has been given the U2 seal of approval
Along with the official photo and 'in their own words' books that the band are currently assembling, U2 have given their blessing to Anton Corbijn's U2 And I, which hits the shelves in November.
According to the press blurb, "U2 & I is the photo story of the 22-year friendship between the Irish rock band and the Dutch photographer who invented the band's image and has shaped it to the present day. It presents a wealth of official and private pictures taken between 1982, when they first met in New Orleans, and their April 2004 shooting in Lisbon for U2's upcoming album."
Most notably he took the shots which adorn the cover of The Joshua Tree, Rattle & Hum, Achtung Baby, Pop and the All That You Can't Leave Behind albums.
