TVVINS for Dublin
The synth-pop duo play Whelan's on Thursday February 27.
Featuring in our 'Hot For 2014' list in the current issue of Hot Press (James Vincent McMorrow cover), TVVINS are a new project formed last summer when The Cast Of Cheers collided with Adebisi Shank and things got "interstellar".
TCOC man Conor Adams and Lar Kaye, who you'll also know from No Spill Blood, decided that if they were going to cheat on their respective bands, it would be pointless for it to be your usual rock 'n' roll affair. So TVVINS create left-of-field electro that touches on tropicalia, AM anthems and lovingly bathes it all in vintage synth.
They'll be giving their material a live airing in Dublin next month. You can catch them in Whelan's on Thursday February 27.
Tickets cost €11 and go on sale this Wednesday January 29 from Ticketmaster outlets and WAV.
