Travis Kelce impresses Shane MacGowan with his version of The Pogues’ 'Fairytale Of New York'
The Kelce brothers have come together to record their own version of The Pogues’ 'Fairytale Of New York' – titled 'Fairytale Of Philadelphia – and Shane MacGowan is impressed.
NFL star Travis Kelce – and Taylor Swift's new man – has surprised everyone with his vocal abilities in a recently released cover of The Pogues’ 'Fairytale Of New York' with his brother.
Jason Kelce, recruited Travis for the track featured on the Philadelphia Eagles holiday album, 'A Philly Special Christmas Special.' Their version changes a few lyrics to fit the Philadelphia theme.
The brothers' cover of the track – originally recorded by Kirsty MacColl and Shane MacGowan of The Pogues – has caught the attention of Shane's wife, Victoria Mary Clarke, who described it as "Not a bad version!" on X
A post on Shane MacGowan's X account shares the video as he says: "Tell them I am knocked out".

'A Philly Special Christmas Special' is available to stream on all platforms with 3 new songs added this year including 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' and 'This Christmas'.
