Track of the Day: Future Lows - 'Broken'
The fiery Irish duo (James and Mikey of Winter Heart) are making their visceral mark with their brand new single, 'Broken'.
Hailing from Athy, Co. Kildare, Future Lows are one of Ireland's most exciting new rock prospects.
The pair initially worked with numerous other groups before paring themselves down to what became Future Lows, passionate about catchy chorus hooks and a big guitar sound.
Releasing their debut single 'Broken' - accompanied by powerful warehouse performance visuals - the outfit embody the modern production elements of bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Don Broco.
Influenced by 2000s rockers Good Charlotte, The Used, Funeral for a Friend and Story of the Year as well as contemporaries Architects, Dayseeker and Holding Absence; Future Lows are carving out their own unique musical brand within Ireland.
Lyrically, the pair write about love, loss and life - marrying them with explosive rock aggression and heart.
